This Diploma is part of our prestigious School of Business, and is designed to give students real-world knowledge, skills and to facilitate career growth in our active four-season communities. Graduates will be ideal candidates for supervisory or front-line management positions in tourism and hospitality.

Health Care Assistant - July 2024

Learn the skills, knowledge and attitudes necessary to work as direct client care providers in any level of continuing care, including home support, adult day care, assisted living, private care, complex care and acute care. The program consists of theoretical and laboratory components in the classroom, as well as a supervised practicum in long-term care and community settings.

Basic Accounting Certificate - September 2024

This certificate provides a foundational introduction to accounting for persons interested in entry-level accounting employment or accounting for their own business. These courses also set up the participant for future computer-based accounting classes. Applications are open.

Revelstoke Settlement Services

Revelstoke Settlement Services helps people integrate into Canada and access services and training.  Funding is provided by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, and the Government of British Columbia.

A range of services and information is available for program participants:

  • Weekly English practice groups (September- June)
  • English tutoring depending on availability
  • Orientation sessions and workshops
  • Information for you and your family about education, housing, employment and services available from municipal and federal governments
  • Social activities

Permanent residents, individuals selected to become permanent residents, live-in caregivers, refugees and those on temporary work permits.

Programs and courses

Tourism Management Diploma

Students gain real-world knowledge, skills and opportunities to advance careers in the mountain tourism sector. Upon graduation, students will be ideally suited for supervisory or front-line management positions in tourism.

Education Assistant

This certificate prepares students to work as part of an educational team in the classroom to help children reach educational goals and encourage development. Check the program page for our next intake.

Health Care Assistant

Adult Upgrading

Improve your career opportunities by completing pre-requisites for College programs, finish high school graduation requirements or improve your high school marks. We also offer a Volunteer Adult Literacy Tutor Program

First Aid and Safety

Okanagan College is an approved Canadian Red Cross and WorkSafeBC Training Centre. Note: course options may differ according to location.
