Ways to Give
You make education possible
When you support Okanagan College, you demonstrate the value you place on access to education, academic achievement and commitment to community. Most importantly, 100 percent of your gift goes to students, programs or facilities that you designate.
Investing in new facilities to improve education
New facilities at Okanagan College improve student learning and help us attract the best talent. We’re currently building a new Health Sciences Centre on the Kelowna campus with more capital projects coming soon.
Your generous help transforms lives and communities while supporting a skilled workforce.

Donate a gift-in-kind
Equipment, materials or other supplies
Every year, thousands of dollars in goods, such as cars, lumber and other building materials are donated. These gifts are of great value and eligible for the same kinds of tax benefits and recognition as other gifts to Okanagan College.
A gift-in-kind must be assessed before a charitable receipt can be issued for current fair market value. Initial arrangement for gifts-in-kind are made at the Department level, to ensure the donation is acceptable and will benefit learning.

Set up an award
Make education more affordable
Our team will work with you to identify a faculty or program at Okanagan College that fits your giving interests. You can create a one-time or annual award that will help students offset the cost of their education and support their success.
Awards can be based on academic achievement, financial need, or a combination of the two, along with other specialized criteria.

Leave a legacy
Make a planned gift
Planned Giving is a way to make clear your intentions and ensure you receive significant tax and estate planning benefits that reflect your personal priorities.
There are no limits and no restrictions when it comes to bequests or other planned gifts – you can give regardless of your current assets or income. This gives you the freedom to support causes you believe in, often in ways you may not be able to accomplish during your lifetime. When you, as an Okanagan College employee give, it speaks volumes. This is because you have unique insight into precisely what's needed based on your close relationship to the College.
The Foundation deeply values employee contributions, and so the Okanagan College Employee Campaign provides opportunities for our internal community to fund initiatives with a personal touch — or even create something as a group. You have the option of deciding where your generosity is directed.
Know that your gift will help students succeed in many different ways.
