Sustainable Construction Management Technology

This is a forward-thinking program designed to enable, empower and inspire the emerging generation of construction managers and technologists to deliver true sustainable development.

Sustainable construction managers organize and supervise large building projects in ways that minimize impact on the environment and maximize energy efficiency.

 

Environmental Studies at OC Penticton


Environmental Studies

Students can now complete the first full year of study for the College's Environmental Studies Diploma program at the Penticton campus. 

The diploma has four options: interdisciplinary environmental arts, environmental management, environmental science and geographic information science.

Courses have university transfer credit providing students with the option of further study in either environmental studies or other disciplines. Learn more here

 

Welding Pic

Welder Foundation

Study in Penticton in our new welding building starting August 20th, 2018.

From construction to car racing and manufacturing, welders use their skills to fuse metal together, to the proper specifications and strength.

Graduates from this program will receive an Industry Training Authority Certificate of Completion, technical training credit for Welder Level 1 and Level 2 and 300 work-based hours once registered as a Welder apprentice.

Adult Basic Education

Finish high-school, improve your literacy skills, upgrade for admission to college studies. High school courses at the fundamental (up to Grade 10) and intermediate levels (Grades 11 & 12) are offered in a variety of flexible learning formats throughout the year.

Business Administration - Certificate, Diploma and Degree*

The Okanagan School of Business offers students practical and applied business education to prepare them for employment in the workplace.

* Years 1, and 2 of the BBA can be completed on the Penticton campus

Associate of Arts  

The Associate of Arts Degree is granted upon completion of 60 credits of prescribed study. Students with an Associate of Arts Degree if admitted to BC universities are guaranteed full transfer credit (60 credits) for the work done for their Associate Degree.

Diplomas are also offered in Criminal Social Justice, Environmental Studies and General Studies on the Penticton campus.

Associate of Science

The Associate of Science degree consists of two years of university-level study in a variety of academic areas, such as: Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Earth and Environmental Studies, Geography, Mathematics, Physics and Statistic.

Diplomas are also offered in Human Kinetics and the first year of Computer Information Studies on the Penticton campus.

Office Assistant Certificate

The Office Assistant Program is a 17-week program for students who have no prior business education or experience.

Graduates of the OAC program will be employed as receptionists and office assistants in business of all types and sizes.
