Program spotlight
The Animation Diploma program focuses on drawing, design and the principles and techniques of traditional and digital character animation. Students will have opportunities to use the latest technology in the field of digital animation in a state-of-the-art classroom in downtown Kelowna.

I am a skilled, classically trained 3D Character Animator with nearly 20 years of on-the-job experience, a wealth of skills and knowledge and experience teaching at the post secondary level at the International Academy of Design and Technology and at Fanshawe College and at Okanagan College since 2018.

I've been in the animation industry since 1984 as an animator, director, supervisor, storyboard artist and studio owner. I have taught animation around the world since 2000, mostly in private schools. Some of my students have gone on to have amazing careers on some very high profile films, shows and games. I started teaching animation at OC in 2018 and my focus is getting students into their first job in the animation industry.
