Upon completion of my doctorate degree in automatic control systems, I started my career more than 20 years ago as an industrial engineer responsible for optimal control system development in metallurgical industries. After spending a number of years in engineering R&D, I moved to software development, software engineering, database application development for private industries in Ontario and later switched my professional interests to education. My long career in education has been quite diverse, including teaching in high schools, college setting, and academia. I am currently a professor of computer science department of Okanagan College, delivering courses in programming, object oriented analysis and design, and user experience.
