Teaching Interests: Introductory Psychology (111 & 121), Abnormal (242), Research Methods and Statistics (260). Other special interests are, interpersonal relations, language and psychology, discourse and society, interpersonal communication, and discourse and criminology.

Research Interests: Violence, social interaction, discourse, and psychotherapy. Collaborative research on articulating the Interactive and Discursive View of Violence and Resistance. Critiquing assumptions about the nature of violence, victims, and perpetrators that underlie most theories of violence. Investigating the treatment of violence in the legal system, psychotherapeutic interviews, and the media.
