It’s a wrap: OC Grad Experience feeds into convocation celebration
Okanagan College graduating students had a unique opportunity the past two weeks to don a cap and gown in front of a small handful of their family and friends during the recently wrapped Grad Experience.
The Grad Experience took place over the past two weeks, visiting the Revelstoke, Salmon Arm, Vernon, Kelowna and Penticton campuses. The event offered students the closest experience to OC’s traditional convocation ceremony in a COVID-friendly set up. Students across all programs were able to safely come to campus – via organized time slots – with up to four of their loved ones to put on their graduation gear and have professional photos taken for free.
The event took place in advance of the College’s upcoming June 5 spring virtual convocation ceremonies which will confer credentials upon students in Arts and Foundational, Business and Science, Technology and Health programs.
A big thank you to all OC employees at each campus who made this experience possible for the graduating class of 2021.
