On this site you can learn out about the counselling support available to Okanagan
College students, find out how to book a counselling appointment, and access helpful online resources to help you with your personal, career, and academic development.

Personal, emotional and academic problems are a normal part of student life.  Professionally trained staff are available to assist students in coping with problem areas in their life that interfere with maximizing their academic and social potential.  One of the most helpful ways of dealing with problematic situations and feelings is to talk them through with an experienced counsellor.

Confidentiality: Confidentiality is the cornerstone of the counselling relationshipAll communication between you and your counsellor will be held in confidence and will not (except under special circumstances*) be disclosed to anyone outside of the Counselling Services department unless you give written authorization to release the information.

Y Mind at OC Kelowna!
Experiencing anxiety? Want tools to cope? Want s free YMCA membership? Want a free meal? Y-Mind is a 7-week group for OC students aged 18-30 that helps students learn how to deal with anxiety and stress. To participate, students must atend a mandatory information session. For Winter 2020 the program is now full. For information please email ymind@okanagan.bc.ca.
