Overlooking scenic Kalamalka Lake at the College’s Vernon campus, a special memorial bench was installed in memory of OC student Sheryl MacIntosh. MacIntosh, who was studying business and part of the College’s Enactus team, tragically died in a motor vehicle accident on March 18, 2020. The bench comes as a tribute to her life and time spent at the Vernon campus.
“Sheryl has left behind a trail of beautiful memories. To honour Sheryl, the family, with the support of Okanagan College, will be placing a memorial bench at the Vernon campus,” said the MacIntosh family, earlier in 2020.
