Exam Stress Buster Workshop

Reflection

Indigenous Peer Mentors and fellow students at the Penticton campus stopped studying to get together for a Stress Buster Exam workshop before exams.

Students enjoyed the hot chocolate bar with all sorts of delicious sprinkles for the whip cream topping while munching on homemade nacho chips, guacamole, and empanadas.  Students made their own stress balls out of balloons, water beads and put together personal stress kits to take home with them along with a self-decorated mug.

The stress kits included EmergenC packets, relaxing tea blends made during the workshop, tips and tricks on dealing with stress during exam time, and sensory toys. It was an afternoon of sharing studying skills, laughter, hot chocolate, snacks and fun.
