Review the latest travel restrictions in B.C. and how they may impact post-secondary students

On April 23, the B.C. Government announced new travel restrictions for non-essential travel in B.C. in place until May 25 to stop the spread of COVID-19 and variants of concern. 

The Province is urging residents to stay local and stay in your community (do not travel for non-essential reasons). Fines can be given to people who leave their region for non-essential travel. 

Among the essential travel reasons that could be of interest to Okanagan College students:

  • Returning to your principal residence, moving or helping someone move
  • Attending classes at a post-secondary institution or school
