Wes Peterson, Manager of the BC Beverage Technology Access Centre (BCBTAC) at the College's Penticton campus, recently chatted with InfoNews.ca about the scope of sensory research, innovation and collaboration going on in the TAC and what sets OC’s Wine Sensory Centre apart from others.
 
The B.C. Wine Information Sensory Centre opened its doors in 2014 specifically for the sensory discovery and evaluation of wine and food, while the BCBTAC fired up operations last year, expanding on the capacity for research with craft breweries, distilleries, cideries and a wide range of non-alcoholic beverage producers in addition to wineries.
 
Peterson touched on various shifts and “blurring of categories” in the beverage industry, while explaining the role the TAC is playing in terms of testing and analysis for industry. Read the full interview here.
