Jingle Dance: History, Meaning and Celebration

This event is an opportunity to learn about the history of Jingle Dance, the etiquette and format of a Pow Wow, how the outfits are made and even an opportunity to learn to dance yourself. You will be able to get curious and ask questions as you participate in a joyful celebration of cultural dance. We will be guided by former OC student Janessa Lambert. Janessa has transferred into an SFU Indigenous governance program which will be running in her community of Keremeos, located in unceded Syilx territory.
