Professional skills are career competencies and abilities used in the workplace that are assets for nearly any job. Professional skills support employment success and are transferrable between different jobs. In this session we will discuss how to identify and showcase your professional skills in the job application process. Cultivating professional skills is a life-long process, so we will explore growth strategies for areas of development. The session will conclude with discussions around 5 professional skill themes: communication, organization, self-advocacy, teamwork, and hardiness
