Campus:
Penticton

Visit the Aboriginal Student Centre (PE A17) anytime between 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., to light a candle, or lay a rose, or write a pledge of action honour of the fourteen women killed in the 1989 Ecole Polytechnique massacre, our countless Stolen Sisters (missing and Murdered Indigenous Women), and folks targeted in acts of gendered violence. We remember and respect all those who identify as women and honour our Transgender sisters and Two-Spirit siblings who continue to face a disproportionate amount of violence in our society.

We also will be honoring and remembering the missing and murdered Indigenous women by placing red dressed in the trees in the Indigenous garden.

Warm refreshments and a light snack will be available.
