A message from Dr. Andrew Hay, Interim Vice President, Academic and Provost  

We are pleased to provide you with this array of resources on this site that are intended to support you in transitioning to alternative delivery methods where appropriate and possible.  
 
Our Dean’s Offices, Learning and Applied Research Office, and Information Technology department are all ready to assist you as you determine the best path forward.  They can help you assess the tools and equipment you will need.  New Collaborate workshops are being offered – please go to Learning & Applied Research to view sessions and to register. 
 
We greatly appreciate the extra effort of all who are working diligently to ensure our students are able to complete their courses and programs in a safe learning environment in these challenging times.  We recognize this is a rapidly changing situation, so please continue to communicate amongst yourselves and with Dean’s Offices so we can support each other and our students to the best of our abilities.  Please be patient and compassionate, as the circumstances have created significant anxiety. 

 

For Students

Okanagan College is transitioning all classes to alternative modes of delivery until further notice. Any classes that have not been transitioned will be cancelled or postponed until the transition is complete. Your professor or instructor will provide you with instructions about their plans to deliver instruction online.
