T&A Rock Works Inc.
T&A Rock Works Inc., established in 1979 and based out of Kelowna, saw its' former owner and president retire on Oct. 31, 2023. The company specializes in rock drilling, controlled blasting, slope stabilization, shoring, crushing and non-explosive rock removal across the Okanagan Valley.

Mike Witham (former owner and president), graduated from OC Kelowna in 1981 with a Civil Engineering Technology Diploma.
Nathan Lester (partner and blasting division manager), graduated from OC Kelowna in 2015 with an Associate of Science Diploma.
Sam Visona (partner and new president), graduated from OC Kelowna in 2018 with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Marketing Specialty.
David Knapp, Bachelor of Business Administration, 2003
I joined the team at the Central Okanagan Foundation after many years with CIBC followed by a development role with local start-up, Refresh Financial. Proud to be a "dance-dad" to an active 13-year old daughter, and continue to love cycling the rail trail and Kelowna's ever expanding cycle routes. During festival season you may find me behind the drums for local performing artist Barb Samuel, Sista B and the Boyz.

Kevin Wilson, Civil Engineering Technology, 1979
Career spent in Project Management for decades. Retired from Oil and Gas in 2016. Still working full time in agriculture and renewable and sustainable technologies predominantly in Mali, West Africa.

Sarah Hasan, Bachelor of Business Administration, 2019
After graduating from OC, I worked as an Accountant for a year in Ontario. Wanting to further my education after graduation, I enrolled into the STEM Masters in Accounting program at the University of Rochester. This summer, I will be interning at PwC in their Tax group at their Washington, D.C. location.

Linda Stephen (Rank), Diploma in Arts, 1970
*graduated with a Diploma in Arts (Vernon campus) in 1970
*Governor General of Canada Silver Medal Award winner for the highest academic achievement of the Okanagan College graduating class of 1970
*graduated from U.Vic in 1977 with an honours B.Ed degree in music
*travelled extensively throughout Europe for a year
*studied adult education at UBC
*lived in the Yukon for 10 years; taught Adult Ed. at Yukon College
*have two great adult children; Jimmy and Chelsea, and one grandson
*happily retired and loving Kelowna life
Tyler Bacon, Office Assistant Certificate, 2016
Since graduating from okanagan college, I moved to Hope in which I had worked at a polling station, got a job at buy-low foods & Tim Hortons. I got to be mentored by Ross Colton in November 2019 learning his job as CEO of community living BC who started in August 2019. In December 2018 I went to Honolulu with my family from December 4-14th.
Jillian Haller, Bachelor of Business Administration, 2009
Our company, Kelowna Concierge was founded in 2017 by four Okanagan College Alumni. We are the Okanagan Valley’s premier provider of local experiences, wine tours, corporate event planning and transportation services. We operate the Official Airport Shuttle and specialize in providing Okanagan Wine Tours as well as Craft Brewery, Distillery and Cidery Tours. We offer local recommendations and book attractions and adventures throughout the Okanagan.
In 2019 we were honoured to received the Excellence in Tourism Award presented by Tourism Kelowna at the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce Excellence Awards.
