A Class A FSR (Field Safety Representative) certificate of qualification entitles the holder to submit declarations on behalf of their employer for any type of regulated electrical work. There are no voltage or ampere limitations.
All electrical field safety representative certificates must be renewed every three years.

A Class B FSR certificate of qualification entitles the holder to submit declarations on behalf of their employer for regulated electrical work only with respect to electrical installations where the voltage of the completed installation is under 750 volts. The certification also covers the Underground Raceway scope, allowing underground conduit installations at any voltage.
All electrical field safety representative certificates must be renewed every three years.

A Class C FSR (Field Safety Representative) certificate of qualification entitles the holder to submit declarations on behalf of their employer for regulated electrical work only with respect to electrical installations where the voltage of the installation is under 150 volts to ground; ampacity is restricted to 200 amps or less and, single phase power.
All electrical field safety representative certificates must be renewed every three years.

A Class LO (low energy) FSR certificate of qualification entitles the holder to act as a Field Safety Representative (FSR), and perform regulated electrical work on electrical equipment that includes all wiring and equipment installed that is restricted to circuits that have the power supply limited in accordance with the requirements for Class 2 circuits, maximum 100 volt amperes. Despite the above, a dedicated branch circuit from an existing panel board or extension of an existing branch circuit wiring, rated at 15 ampere, 120 volt, to an outlet installed specifically for a Class 2 power supply shall also be acceptable.

A Class RE (Refrigeration) FSR certificate of qualification entitles the holder to act as a Field Safety Representative (FSR). They can make declarations on behalf of their employer for regulated electrical work only with respect to electrical installations in which the voltage of the completed installation does not exceed 750 volts for the following installations: circuits for refrigeration equipment, air-conditioning units, heat pumps and chillers; fabricate, install, alter, repair, or service any system used for cooling and/or heating (i.e., heat pumps) in closed systems that contain a refrigeration or a brine and thermoelectric cooling; and piping, controls and electrical work usually performed by a journeyperson 4. branch circuit wiring from existing enclosures containing overcurrent devices.

A Class UR (Underground Raceway) FSR certificate of qualification entitles the holder to assemble, construct, install, maintain or repair and alter underground electrical conduit.
All electrical field safety representative certificates must be renewed every three years.
Minimum of one year's (1800 hours) acceptable, relevant training and/or electrical work experience.
