OC Nursing students commit to community help
BSN students and Camilla Woods - warm clothing drive
A group of OC Bachelor of Science in Nursing students helped our community keep warm during these cold months.
Alongside OC professor and faculty liaison, Camilla Woods, the students formed a Global Health and Professional Practice Committee. The Committee worked hard over the holidays to collect donations for a warm clothing drive.
Working diligently under COVID restrictions, students collected blankets, jackets, boots, gloves and more. The students collected enough donations to fill an entire truck. All items were distributed locally and to other organizations on the coast, for even greater reach.
