For more than a decade BC Council for International Education (BCCIE) have honoured the hard work and talent of our colleagues in the international education sector. The awards coincide with BC’s first International Education Week which has brought together more than 350 educators, administrators, and diplomatic figures from across BC, Canada, and internationally, to Whistler, BC.

This year they are honouring Gordon Shuster, Director of International Education at Okanagan College with the International Education Distinguished Leadership Award. Shuster's commitment as an international educator includes developing, managing, and operating the international education department at Okanagan College, and whose determined leadership has had a lasting effect on BC’s international education sector.
