ApplyProof and Okanagan College

By College Relations | July 27, 2022

Beginning June 2022 for the Winter 2023 term and beyond, Okanagan College will be sending international students’ Proof of Acceptance letters through our partner, ApplyProof.

ApplyProof is a digital lockbox for official documents such as the Proof of Acceptance. Using unique identifier codes on documents, immigration officers, border officials, and students can securely view and access the digital original of their letter on ApplyProof in seconds.  Immigration officers can have the certainty that the document they are accessing is authentic, which can positively impact study permit approval rates. Study permit denials due to the suspicion of fraudulent acceptance letters will be an issue of the past.

When students apply for their study permit,  they can now have the confidence in taking the next step abroad.

For any future inquiries by international students, immigration officials or student representatives on the validity of their Proof of Acceptance, please contact Inga Wheeler, Associate Registrar.

If you have any questions about the partnership with ApplyProof and how it impacts our current process, please contact Gordon Shuster, Director International Education or Inga Wheeler, Associate Registrar.
