Jump Start 2020
Now more than ever, we know students have questions about the transition to College and what to expect this fall. Jump Start is a great way to learn all about OC and the services and supports available to you, and guide you through the process of registering for courses. We’re here to take the stress out of starting school. We want to help you get the answers you need to set you up for success in the coming semester!
COVID-19 has changed a lot about how we do things in the world including here at Okanagan College. In the absence of hosting an in-person event, we have designed a series of online experiences to help you get you started this fall.

This information session is specifically designed for students and parents interested in learning what programs and courses are available at the Salmon Arm Campus and Revelstoke Centre. We know there may be changes of plans whether it be travel that is no longer happening or an apprehension to move away given the current climate, we are here for you to answer all of your questions! Jul 7, 2020 1 p.m. - Click here to register in advance for the webinar This webinar is designed to assist students that are attending the Salmon Arm Campus register for their courses. They will also be introduced to staff in various departments to begin connecting with services they may need to access in the fall. This is an extremely important event to get a head start on the semester in terms of building your schedule and ensuring you get into the classes you need and want to fulfill your educational goals. Students must watch the original "Jump Start" video (coming soon) on the homepage okanagan.bc.ca/jumpstart PRIOR to attending this session. These webinars are designed for students enrolled in the programs specified below at the Penticton campus to teach them how register for their courses. They will also be introduced to staff in various departments to begin connecting with services they may need to access in the fall. Students must watch the original "Jump Start" video in Step 1 PRIOR to attending this session. That video will provide a foundation for what we can assist you with in this session.
