OC's Salmon Arm campus has organized a panel of Knowledge Keepers and residential school survivors from local bands to share their stories and experience. Dr. Jann Derrick will also attend, sharing their experience as a therapist for residential school survivors since 1986. Derrick was an active member of the Aboriginal Healing Foundation and provided supervision and support services for Truth and Reconciliation Commission members as they went community to community recording stories, testimony and evidence. The panel will run from 6 to 8 p.m.
