Did you create a variety of resources for your online students this past year?  Would you like to be able to use them in the future? Blended learning is typically described s front‐loading content for asynchronous learning prior to in‐person and/or virtual classes where active learning and assessment take place. In this session, we will focus on providing asynchronous content for students to learn prior to class.  Note that this approach can benefits all students in any course. 

Learning Outcomes: 

  • Examine ways to modify your recorded lecture videos for the biggest impact 
  • Describe Moodle features useful for asynchronous preparation for class 
  • Investigate Open Educational Resource options 
  • Investigate additional tools that can be used for asynchronous class preparation 

Topics: 

  • Asynchronous learning tools 
  • OERs 
  • Microsoft 365 and other collaborative documents 
  • Moodle forums, learning quizzes, activity completion/restrictions
