Implementing Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles proactively ensures that course resources are readily accessible to learners. Moodle 4.1 supports these considerations through a number of improvements, which will be introduced in this session.
Learning Outcomes:
- Define UDL
- Discuss common accessibility challenges for learners within learning management systems such as Moodle
- Examine improved keyboard navigation, colour schemes and support for screen readers.
- Identify the assistive features found in ReadSpeaker
