College Launch
Want to be ready for the 2020 fall semester? College Launch is a free, two-session online workshop designed to help new and returning Penticton students thrive in a remote learning environment.
The workshops will be delivered with Moodle Collaborate. We encourage you to attend both sessions as they complement each other. The first 30 students to register for and attend both sessions will receive OC hoodies.
Workshop description
Session 1
Monday, Aug. 31 from 10 a.m. to noon
Staying well as a student, motivation and time management, study skills, getting involved at Okanagan College.
Session 2
Tuesday, Sept. 1 from 10 a.m. to noon
Tips and tricks to succeed in online classes, learning preferences, note-taking methods, student services at the Penticton campus.
