OC employees are reminded to encourage their family members attending Okanagan College as a student to apply for the OC Family Award.
How to apply
The application can be made online through their family member's myOkanagan account:

Application criteria
- Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident
- Immediate family member (spouse, common-law partner, child, stepchild, legal ward, grandchild, niece, nephew, or sibling) of a continuing (regular) Okanagan College employee
- Enrolled full time (9 credits/60% course load or 6 credits/40% course load for students with permanent disabilities) in any year of an eligible program: university studies, degree, or diploma program; vocational, trades or health certificate program; full-time Continuing Studies Certificate program; or apprenticeship program at Okanagan College.
- In good standing.
- Not on academic probation
- No outstanding fees
Deadlines to apply (2024)
- Programs starting between Jan. 1 - March 31: deadline is Feb. 28
- Programs starting between April 1 - July 31: deadline is June 30
- Programs starting between Aug. 1 - Dec. 31: deadline is Oct. 31
