Foundation Programs

A Trades Foundation program is entry level training program that provides a student, who has no previous experience, the basic knowledge and skills they need for entry into a particular trade. Our programs range from 20 - 72 weeks in duration and, as a program graduate, you will be more attractive to an employer as you already have the basic skills needed to be productive on the job site.

In most cases, upon successful completion and after securing employment as an apprentice, you will receive credit for your first level of apprenticeship technical training. You may also be eligible for some work based hours towards your apprenticeship. For more information on apprenticeship please see Apprenticeship Programs.

We offer a selection of Foundation programs at our Kelowna campus as well as other campus locations: Salmon ArmVernonPenticton and occasionally in Revelstoke. Please see below for a list of Foundation programs.
