Rules & Regulations: The contest begins on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. (PT) and ends Sunday, November 4, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. (PT). Entries will be accepted via official paper ballot only. Entry must include entries full legal name, email address, phone number, and indicate how they heard about the event. By submitting an entry into the contest, you are granting Okanagan College Trades and Apprenticeship the right to use your personal contact information to send you information about future events. One prize awarded during the contest period. The prize is one custom, stainless steel food smoker. The prize must be accepted as awarded and cannot be transferred, substituted, exchanged, or redeemed for cash. One winner will be chosen at random on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at 3:00 p.m., and notified by phone call or email. Once notified, the winner will have five business days to claim their prize. The winner will have the option to pick up the prize at Okanagan College Kelowna campus or arrange shipping to their address at the prize winner’s expense. Okanagan College employees are not eligible to participate. Prize may differ from picture advertised. Stainless steel food smoker may not include heating element. No purchase or payment is required to enter or win. Limit one entry per person, per event. Okanagan College reserves the right to modify or cancel this contest at any time.


 

QUICK  PROGRAM OVERVIEW           

Program Details:  20 weeks (5 months)
Monday - Thursday, 7:30 a.m. - 3:45pm

Outcomes:  
Upon successful completion of the program students will receive credit for Level One Technical Training and 350 work-based hours towards completion of Sheet Metal Worker apprenticeship.
 
Employment Opportunities:  Sheet Metal Workers find jobs with Air Conditioning and Heating Contracting Firms; Residential, Commercial and Industrial Construction Firms and Independent Heating and Air Conditioning Shops.
