Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic’s install, maintain, repair and overhaul residential central air conditioning systems, commercial and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems, and combined heating, ventilation and cooling systems. On any given day, you could find yourself saving an entire industrial fridge of food or simply making an air conditioner work more efficiently, but whatever you’re doing, you’re solving problems for people in need.

Program Details: 25 week (750 hours)
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Outcome: Graduates of this program may receive credit for Level 1 apprenticeship technical training and may also be granted practical credit from the Industry Training Authority.
Employment Opportunities: Appliance Dealerships; Gas and Electric Utility Companies; owners of Rented Commercial Appliance Service Companies; Department Stores; and, Appliance Manufacturer's own Service Departments; and, some choose to run their own businesses.
