Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Repair students work with new materials in the shop

Mechanical Building Trades are responsible for work related to maintenance, testing and operation of all heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, the distribution of steam, water systems including fire prevention sprinklers, natural gas or propane systems and building plumbing systems.

“The other thing that the foundation program does is prove to me that someone has the ability and the desire to learn. As service plumbers, school does not end for us. We are constantly learning as products change and we come across something different every day. " says Gary Whitlock about his new apprentice and OC foundation program graduate, Dallas Stewart.
