Upgrading at Okanagan College

Sometimes the hardest part of going back to school is taking the first step. Okanagan College offers a respectful and supportive learning environment designed to meet the education needs of  adult learners. The Okanagan College AACP department is here to welcome and help adult students along every step of their educational journey with the services and resources needed to succeed

When: Course and program intakes are offered throughout the year.

Okanagan College Adult Academic and Career Preparation is for you if you want to accomplish any of the following things.

  • complete prerequisites for post-secondary programs
  • complete high school graduation requirements
  • upgrade your high school marks
  • develop your reading, writing, and mathematics skills
  • improve your career opportunities

Admission Requirements

No specific academic background is required. Students entering some AACP courses may be required to complete a skills assessment if they do not meet specific course prerequisites.

Apply online or obtain an Application Form at any Campus Administration Office. Return completed applications to Admissions, 1000 KLO Road, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 4X8, or to any Okanagan College campus.
