Linyi University, Linyi
Linyi University is a state-run, full-time undergraduate university located in the beautiful Linyi City with convenient transportation and a comfortable environment. It was established in May 1941. The university now has an enrolment of 34,000 full-time students, and this number has been among the top of Shandong provincial universities.

Linyi City, the largest city in the Shandong, is located in the southeast of the province, close to the Yellow Sea. It covers 17,184 km2. The population of Linyi is 11 million, representing 32 nationalities. The mountains are covered with thick forests, and the rivers are clean, with many fish. Transportation is very convenient. Airport, railways, and expressways link Linyi with cities throughout China.
Linyi is a city with 5000 years of history and is one of the cradles of Chinese civilization. The ancient bamboo-slip scroll, “The Art of War” by Sun Bin, was unearthed in Linyi and was one of the ten major discoveries of the 20th century.
