David Cram

David Cram SkiingI joined Okanagan College as a Professor in the Faculty of Business Administration, teaching a variety of Management and Marketing courses in 1991. In addition to teaching; extracurricular activities including consulting, committee work, volunteer activities, and professional associations are a priority. Lately, I have been helping a broad range of groups in facilitating their planning, retreats and management development.

Originally from Toronto, I was lured out West (to Calgary) for the skiing. In between runs, I received a BA from the University of Calgary in 1979.

The next decade was spent in Edmonton. Highlights included: getting married, going back to school to obtain a MBA (U. of A.'83), and starting a family – two daughters. During this time I worked in the Manufacturing and Information Systems and Telecommunications Industries in a variety of marketing and management positions.

In 1989, our family decided to relocate to the Okanagan for "quality of life" reasons. My wife and I have two grown daughters who have returned to our beautiful community. I am a member of the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce, and the APICS Okanagan Chapter - the resource management society from which I hold the CIRM designation.
