Okanagan College Half Marathon
2018 Race Update
The OC Half Marathon will be taking a hiatus for 2018 as we work through sustainability issues for our race committee.
As all of you who run know, it takes a great deal of coordination to put a race of this size on. Over the past 15 years Okanagan College has relied on an outstanding group of employee-volunteers who have dedicated a tremendous amount of time to ensure the event's success.
Since the first race in 2003, our not-for-profit event has raised thousands of dollars to support students through bursaries and as race director for the past seven years I have been very proud to be a part of it.
Our committee will be taking the next year to seek out more volunteers who are interested in taking on an organizational role, as well as a new race director. We are hopeful the race will continue in 2019. Please revisit this page for updates.
Thank you again for your support and happy running!
