Testing, inspection and maintenance work on the Kelowna campus’s high-voltage power system in preparation for the construction of the new Health Science Centre will require a partial campus closure on Sunday, Nov. 18.
The following Buildings will be closed for the day:
Classes and events scheduled for Nov. 18 have been moved to alternate locations in the Health, Business and Trades buildings. Affected students and employees will be notified either by email, their supervisors, and/or the Regional Dean’s office.
Other services normally available (i.e. the library, the fitness facility) will be closed for the day. Web-based services will continue to be available on Nov. 18.
Emergency power will be operational for all life safety systems and IT server rooms.
If you are an instructor who has classes or workshops scheduled for Nov. 18 that have not been rescheduled or cancelled, please contact your direct supervisor.
All buildings are expected to re-open and regular campus activities are scheduled to resume at 7 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 19. Notice of any further disruption will be communicated by email and posted on this page.
