The  education technology resource center provides advice, training and assistance to Okanagan College faculty in all program areas in instructional practices and delivery methods that reflect 'best practices' in the application of technology to teaching, learning and research.

 Ed Tech News
  • EdTech Coordinators Mike Minions and Ross McKerlich have relocated to B120
  • On the KLO campus AV Equipment is still booked online through MyOkanagan but it is picked up at the IT Helpdesk in the E building.
  • Blackboard Collaborate is now integrated with Moodle and is available for every course running at OC.
  • Issues with extended desktop mode in Powerpoint (pdf)
  • We are now running Moodle version 3.1.
  • Bluejeans desktop videoconferencing service through BCNet is available for another year.
  • Respondus LockDown Browser is now installed in all OC computer labs. Prevents access to anything else on the computer while moodle quiz in progress.
  • We are slowly shifting from VGA to HDMI as the connection standard to OC classroom projectors.
