On September 22, 2016, the new Trades Complex at Okanagan College’s Kelowna Campus officially opened.
The three-year $35-million project was one of the most ambitious ever in the College’s 50-plus year history. Blending new build and extensive upgrades to existing facilities, the complex was constructed to meet LEED Platinum standards and be one of the most sustainable trades training facilities anywhere in the world.
From top to bottom the new complex embodies the deep respect and value that Okanagan College places upon the trades. It is intended to inspire and celebrate tradespeople and the role they play in building our communities.
Thank you to the BC Government and all the donors who helped Okanagan College build for the future. Learn more about the project here.
