Welcome to the Kelowna campus
The Kelowna campus is home to a variety of university studies in arts and science, trades, technologies, business, vocational health and adult education programs to meet your educational and career goals. The campus has 5,500 students and is proud to offer a comprehensive array of first and second year university transfer courses as well as two bachelor degree programs (Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Computer Information Systems) and two associate degree programs (Associate of Arts and Associate of Science).
Study in world-class, highly sustainable learning environments. The new Kelowna Trades Complex officially opened in fall of 2016. Built to LEED Platinum standards, it is one of the most advanced trades training facilities in Canada. The Centre of Learning is a LEED Gold-Certified building that opened its doors to students in 2009. Construction on a new $19.8-million Health Sciences Centre will begin in the summer of 2018 with project completion anticipated for the spring of 2020.
The campus boasts a growing and diverse International program that welcomes students from many different countries each year to the Okanagan Valley. An extensive summer session is offered each year for students looking to upgrade or get a head start on their programs for the fall.
In between classes, students enjoy a host of recreational and social activities that happen on the campus. Be sure to check out our state-of-the-art Fitness Centre and walking paths which pass by an outdoor fitness equipment area Recreation Facilities. The na’ʔk’ʷulamən Garden, which opened in June 2017 and is a popular new greenspace on campus, contains nearly 50 different plant varieties that are of significance to the Indigenous people of the region. Enjoy local flavours and the creativity of Okanagan College Culinary and Pastry Arts students at Infusions restaurant, which is open for lunch and dinner.
