Building for the future

Okanagan College is growing and now the largest community college in the province outside the lower mainland. To provide students and our community with the best learning environment possible, the College completed a Master Space Plan that identifies over $210 million worth of facility improvements and construction across all four of our regional campuses.

We are growing

  • We currently have 8,000 students growing to a predicted 10,000 by 2021
  • We are the second largest Trades Training institution in the province
  • We have 250 faculty and over 900employees
  • We offer 125 different degree, diploma, apprenticeship and certificate programs
  • We give away 608 bursaries and scholarship’s worth over $435,000
  • Each year we graduate 2000+ students with degrees, diplomas, certificates and apprenticeships
  • We have 4 main campuses and 11 different educational centres throughout the Okanagan region

As part of our growth we recently opened three new buildings/centres; the Centre for Learning,-Kelowna, Little Scholars Child Care Centre and Acland Road Trades Training Centre.  Plans are underway to develop a new Trades Complex on the Kelowna Campus.
