Welcome Letter
Welcome to
Okanagan College !
Are you ready to start your program at Okanagan College? I hope so because we are excited to have you join us this fall. Your first day at Okanagan College includes a Welcome Kickoff, your program orientation, a free BBQ, help with your book purchases, photo id, and access to your computer account and parking passes. General orientation day on the Kelowna campus is Tuesday September 6th, 2011.
Please check with you program/department area for specific details on your program orientation. On September 6, sign up for the many recreational and social events planned that day and throughout the semester. If you have time, beat the line up and come in the week before September to pick up your books or take a tour of the campus.
Students at our Penno Road, Acland Road and Airport centres will have "Welcome Events" at these locations, details to follow. However, I hope you can join us for some of the events being held on the Kelowna Campus.
I hope you have an exciting and rewarding year with us. Thank-you for choosing Okanagan College and I am looking forward to seeing you this fall!
Heather Schneider, Regional Dean Central Okanagan.
