September 6 2011 New Student Orientation - We want to welcome you to the College - Kelowna Campus!
We are excited to host a Campus-Wide Kick-Off in the morning (accompanied by refreshments ). Students will proceed to their program-specific orientations where each program will host a unique orientation to welcome its students. Your program-specific orientation details are below. The day will wrap up with a FREE BBQ, student fair and fun activities – be sure to attend, as there will be lots of prize giveaways !
September 6, 2011 - Day One
8:00am - Mix and Mingle
Location: Court Yard
Come to campus bright and early to meet lots of other students. But don't worry, we wouldn't make you come to campus this early if we weren't going to provide coffee and snacks!
8:30am - Campus-Wide Kick-Off
Location: Court Yard
We want to welcome you to campus! Okanagan College staff and faculty are very excited to have fresh faces on campus. Join us in the court yard where we will offically Kick-Off your first day at College!
9:00am - Program Specific Orientation

12:00pm- BBQ and Student Services Fair
Location: Court Yard
A free BBQ will be hosted for you in the Court Yard. After your program specific orientation is complete, you will head back to the court yard for the afternoon. Along with free food, venture around to our student services fair to find out what you can get involved with and the resources that Okanagan College provides you!
And be alert because during the BBQ there will be tons of prizes giveaway and lots of activities to keep you busy!

If you are not sure where to go, please visit our information table in the courtyard beside the Student Services Building or speak to one of the many volunteers (wearing Hawaiian Lei's or Okanagan College gear) stationed in the Parking Lots and throughout the campus. Make sure to ask for an events schedule!
Campus will be extremely busy on September 6th. Please allow for extra time to get to the school. We recommend carpooling with friends, taking the bus or riding your bike!
