UNIVERSITY TRANSFER COURSES
Arts and Sciences First and second year university transfer courses are available at the Vernon Campus
Diploma in Writing & Publishing For 2011-2012, students can complete all of the first year courses for this Diploma at the Vernon Campus and some of the 2nd year courses. Students in second year must be prepared to travel to Kelowna for additional courses.
Diploma in Criminal & Social Justice Some first year courses of the Criminal and Social Justice Diploma are offered at the Vernon Campus with the exception of Criminology 111 and 121. Criminology 111 and 121 must be taken by attending an evening class at the Okanagan College’s Penticton Campus one night a week or via Distance Education through Thompson Rivers University. All 2nd year courses of the Criminal and Social Justice Diploma are offered at the Penticton Campus.
Diploma in Environmental Studies Students can complete most of the first year courses for Environmental Studies Diploma at the Vernon Campus but will have to travel to Kelowna for at least one course. Students in 2nd year must be prepared to travel to Kelowna for additional courses.
Diploma in Media & Cultural Studies All 1st year courses of this Diploma are available at the Vernon Campus. Students in 2nd year will need to travel to Kelowna for some of the courses.
International Development Diploma This is a new diploma in 2011-2012. Some of the first year courses are available at the Vernon Campus but students will need to travel to the Kelowna campus for a number of courses.

ADULT ACADEMIC AND CAREER PREPARATION PROGRAMS Upgrading courses and Adult Graduation courses in English, math, science, social sciences and computer studies are available at the Vernon Campus. All upgrading (AACP) courses are tuition-free!
INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION The Intensive English Communication Program is offered through the Vernon Campus.
