Okanagan College, in partnership with the University of British Columbia, Okanagan (UBCO) offers years one and two of the four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. The curriculum for this four-year degree program is recognized by the College of Registered Nurses of BC (CRNBC) and the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing (CASN).

As a nursing student at Okanagan College, you will acquire nursing knowledge and gain practical experience in a new state-of-the-art Health Simulation Lab. Students benefit from a learning environment that supports small class sizes, problem-based learning, and the fostering of collegial and inter-professional relationships.

Students who successfully complete all courses in years one and two at Okanagan College will be fully prepared to transfer to the UBC Okanagan  BSN program to complete the final two years of the nursing degree. This transfer provides a guaranteed admission to the UBCO BSN program.

Students entering the Okanagan College BSN Program, Years 1 & 2, with prior post-secondary education credits (transferable to UBC Okanagan) are advised that; subject to the University of BC's residency requirement, students may not be able to apply all of these credits towards the nursing degree.

For more information on entrance requirements please consult the Okanagan College calendar.
