Interested in teaching trades and technology at the high school or college level?

The Trades Technology Teacher Education (TTTE) program is a multi-disciplinary, multi-pathway 2-year diploma program, with a part-time certificate option, offering students an opportunity to pursue a career combining interests in education, skilled trades and technology.

The program starts in September and is offered online with summer lab courses at the Kelowna campus of Okanagan College.

Okanagan College and Interior Health Authority (IH) are hosting an information session about the College’s Health Care Assistant program (which has intakes in April, August and January) and opportunities to become a Care Aide or Community Health Worker and become employed with IH.

The session is happening on Monday, March 26 from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. at IH’s office on Doyle Avenue in downtown Kelowna. Click here for full event details.







Supporting communities

Amid a growing need for more community support workers in B.C., Okanagan College is working with the health care industry and Indigenous partners to provide specialized training for support workers interested in working with Indigenous individuals, families and communities. 

The next intake starts April 9 at the Vernon campus.
