This 30 week program has been designed to take a student with little or no previous experience in the automotive repair trade and supply her/him with the necessary skills to seek employment in this industry as an apprentice mechanic. The program exposes the student to all aspects of servicing and repair in the automotive repair trade with a focus on developing practical skills. Apprenticeship technical training credit for level one will be granted upon successful completion of this program. Apprenticeship practical training credit may also be granted by the employer as a result of prior practical experience.
