2010 09 Youry Khmelevsky is on leave for the 2010-11 academic year, visiting MIT. Mason Macklem has joined the department for a year.

2009 09 Rob McArthur is on leave for the 2009-10 academic year, working for a local company.

2006-12-06 Alan Kennedy has had his ESL (extended study leave) application accepted so will not be teaching in 2007-08.

2006-12-04 Deborah Warren has had a submission accepted to a Microsoft Games Development conference. Pity her; the conference is on a cruise ship to the Bahamas (or is it Bermuda?) in February!!

2006-12-01 Some of the changes to the BCIS program have been delayed, but we still expect them to take place.

2006-04-03 Deborah Warren has returned from the Game Developer's Conference in San Jose, California where she was preparing for a Special Topics course in Game Design to be offered in Fall 2006. Today she was advised that she has won one of three Grand Prizes, an Alienware Aurora 5500 valued at $2800 US, the highest-end gaming solution on a computer platform.
