Am I eligible?

You are eligible if

  • you are at least 19 years old, or
  • you are 18 and have been out of school for at least 12 months, or
  • you have a high school graduation diploma, and
  • you are a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, landed immigrant or have student authorization issued by Immigration Canada.

What do I need to do?

1. Apply to the campus of your choice (on-line or in person).

2. Complete a free skills assessment in English and Mathematics.
    For dates and times, or call Kelowna 862-5488,  Penticton 492-4305,  Revelstoke 837-4235, Salmon Arm 832-2126, or Vernon 545-7291.

3. Discuss your course selection with an AACP instructor or an educational advisor .

4. Apply for financial assistance if needed.

5. Register.

What courses are available?

AACP courses in English, mathematics, science, biology, chemistry, physics, law, social studies, and computer studies are offered.  


Courses are offered at Kelowna , Vernon , Penticton , and Salmon Arm campuses, as well as at the Revelstoke Centre.

Some courses are also available through distance education.  Please contact  Distance Education .
