Ruth Chambers

Since 1997, I have been teaching various Adult Academic and Career Preparation courses, including English, Computer Studies, and Social Studies, starting first at the Kelowna campus and then moving to the Salmon Arm campus in 2010."  I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Northern BC, and a Master’s degree in Adult Education from the University of Calgary. In 2001, UBC-Okanagan Librarian Jan Gattrell and I wrote a book called Okanagan History Vignettes, a compilation of eight historical stories about people and places in the Okanagan Valley. This book is popular with AACP, ASE, and ESL students. In my spare time, I like to golf, kayak, and cross country ski.
