Chandra McCann

I work as the Instructor and Coordinator for the Volunteer Adult Literacy Tutoring program at Kalamalka Campus. I find tutors to help adult learners with reading, writing, math, or computer skills in a friendly and supportive environment.

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in French from the University of Toronto, and I received my Bachelor of Education degree from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education in 2001. I have an interest in the fields of linguistics, language education, creative writing, and community service. I collaborated with several friends in 2006-2008 to produce a quarterly literary magazine, the Pine Beetle Review, which is now being published by Okanagan College students under the title Other:____ Magazine.
